Two sweeties and a confused me. Great.
I confess I'd never been entirely sure. I've got to put things off a little more because I dont want to hurt anybody.
Caught in a dilemma.
National Geographic's photographs are always so gorgeous. Love those that capture the wonderfully natural side of animals. Wish I could go on travel expeditions and take on a career as a wildlife biologist or something. It'd be nice to be able to explore the world and derive a certain sense of satisfaction from your work. Think I'm going through that love-Animal-planet-like-crazy phase again. It beats being cooped up in a laboratory hands-down. No way am I going to be entrapped in a claustrophobic lab, reluctantly committing myself to mundane lab work. I really dont wish for that to be the eventual outcome, though it just seems so likely... I'd be so doomed. I'll just die of boredom. And a mental breakdown.
Had a friendly match against Pioneer yesterday. It was fabulous to be able to see Phyllis there. :D Miss her so much. Miss all the times we had together monkeying around in Sec 2. Anyway, as I kinda predicted, she'd be in the same pair of lanes as I was. Heh. Kinda pressurising, to be bowling against a friend. Moreover, she's the best girl bowler of Pioneer. Haha. Yeah, she's damn zai. And Phyllis' senior's damn cute. It's a girl btw. She's just got this charismatic thing about her...very confident and attractive gung-ho personality. Think she's the typical all-girls-school girl, the kind who couldnt care less about minding her attitude in the presence of guys. And she's cool. Gosh. k, that's more than enough. =/ Anyway, I survived the three draggy games with my pathetic dying-on-me knee. It was more obedient yesterday, fortunately. My teammates are sucha lovable bunch. They love bullying me and they have no qualms about it whatsoever. :( Hmm, that sounds like Alvin and Felicia too. Ha!
Thanks for staying up and waiting for me to finish my bread. :P
Gf, thanks loads. Everything's fine. No worries. Hope all's well btwn you and Lele. Haha! -hugs- :)

Having chinese lesson at the computer lab now. Taking advantage of the slightly senile lady who's my chinese teacher. I have been pretty successful in my attempt to be a good girl these couple of days, though I admit I'd been tempted to skip lectures and follow the mischievous guy with warped ideas to KAP. Isnt that idea tantalising? Especially when your stomach's growling and hankering after the juicy burgers at Macs? See, it did take a considerable amount of self-discipline to achieve that. Heh.
Knee's on its way to recovery. Really thankful for that. Hope to be able to achieve something for NJ in the Nationals. That is if it manages to heal properly... that's the only thing I really ask for now.
Didnt think I'd flare up. It's just that I'd never been faced with such indifference before, especially by a loved one. I'm really disappointed that my concern should be treated with disregard...if it really is the case, I'm really upset by it.
The interview's tomorrow. I guess I'm screwed. Having difficulties speaking basic mandarin is indeed a huge problem.
Gtg, bye.

It's been ages since I've last updated...I dont exactly feel like talking about my recent screwed up life but I'm updating for the sake of doing so....lest people should start giving feedback that yes, my blog's lagging...right cindy? ;)
Basically, everything's all bundled up, just like my knee. Cant quit getting into trouble with egotistical and unreasonable male teachers, school work's one blur haze and my knee's jeopardizing my term in bowling. Oh, but it's the other way round too...bowling's killing my knee. Right. So, nothing really is going right, other than the tender loving care that lovely peeps have been showering me with. Really thanks. Wouldnt have survived if not for these people...
After roller-coastering for two weeks or so, (occasionally ponning lectures, returning from break approx 6 mins late, snapping back at loserific PD, using the F-word too loosely, lying to Sadako and dragging my mum into colluding with me), I've decided to get my life back on track. It's awfully tiring being law-abiding but it's doubly worse getting into a whole series of disciplinary problems which can be avoided with a lil self-restraint. I feel like a madman let loose - something like taking school as an outlet for venting my frustration of a sedentary life. -shakes head- Next week's going to be different. I'll make sure it is. I really hate and blame myself for my past appalling attitude.
Hmmz, thought i said i didnt want to talk abt my screwed-up life. Apparently i still couldnt help it. Sighs.
Oh, one day I should talk about my experience at the chinese physician! It's really fascinating, though it was agonizing cos the sight of needles and the flame freaked me out. Covered my eyes when I saw the guy with the flame and he thought i was afraid of the pain when i was more afraid of the flame. Geez. Wanted to break out into laughter because the whole experience was just so new and weird. It was painful and had a funny feeling to it. Kinda inexplicable. If i hadnt been poked with needles and was afraid of them sinking into my leg, I'd definitely have laughed. Oh wells. Thought i wouldnt talk about my chinese physician experience? Hmmz, apparently i already said half of it. What the hell... =/
Tomorrow marks the start of a new week. Hope everything goes pleasantly well or I'll be doomed. To the dearies out there, take care and love lots!
